We are now inviting applications for 2022 Scholarships at King’s School.
The Endeavour Scholarship was launched by the Governor-General of New Zealand in October 2001, and is now in its 20th year. The Endeavour Scholarship is open to Maori and Pasifika boys who are due to enter Year 7 in 2022. The Endeavour Scholarship provides opportunities for four boys each year to receive an education at King’s School for Years 7 & 8 education, followed by Years 9 to 13 at King’s College.
This scholarship is a financial scholarship and includes tuition fees, uniform allowance and other costs. Four Endeavour Scholarships are awarded each year
The John Henley Music Scholarship is open to boys due to enter Year 7 in 2022, who are playing an instrument at Grade 4 or above. One scholarship will be awarded – valued up to $12,200 per annum (50% of tuition fees), tenable for Years 7 and 8 at King’s School. The level of parental contribution is independently assessed and based on the current financial position of the family.
The Buchanan Charitable Trust Scholarship is now in its 9th year.
The Buchanan Charitable Trust Scholarship is offered to one boy of any ethnic descent who would not normally afford an independent school education.
This scholarship is for a boy due to enter Year 5 in 2022 and includes fees, tuition and uniform allowance for Years 5 – 8 at King’s School, followed by Years 9 – 13 at King’s College.
