The Board held its second meeting of the year on 23 March.  Since our first meeting we have been through two lockdowns.  The Board expresses their gratitude to the Principal, teachers, support staff, children and parents for their support with online and at home learning.

Kindo and School Donations

As you will have noticed Kindo, the online payment platform specifically designed for schools, is now up and running for parents to pay and manage their fees, donations and other school contributions.  If you are having issues with paying donations, please reach out to Gabrielle Ireland for assistance.  Your kind contributions are key to ensuring we can continue to provide the high level of teaching to the children.

Health & Safety

The Health & Safety of the children and teachers is a key consideration for the Board.  Following the lockdowns the children, teachers and parents were surveyed about what went well and what could be improved.  Jane Bush presented the findings for discussion with the key recommendations being implemented ready for the next lockdown.  One key element of this is that should we have another lockdown, on the first school day the students will be given some easy to do simple tasks and online learning with tools like Mathletics and Reading Eggs so that teachers can plan for the following day.  This will allow parents and students to be notified of daily activities the a day early.  This has been designed based on feedback to assist you as parents with planning and balancing your work and family needs.
