The Board held its fourth meeting of the year on June 27th, it’s hard to believe we are at the half-way point of the year already.

Student assessment

We were presented with the results from further rounds of student assessments, this time it was from the e-asTTle assessments on reading and writing across all year groups. As is the norm with our students, we have a high proportion of children achieving in the “at expectation” and “above expectation” categories.

The focus of these assessments is to allow an individual focus on all students to allow them to strive to achieve at their full potential.

Selection of a Replacement Trustee

As outlined in the previous newsletter, we have a vacancy on the Board of Trustees. The Board resolved at its last meeting to fill this vacancy by selecting a replacement trustee. As required by law, we have publicly advertised this intention and we have received no objections, hence the selection process will start.

We are really pleased to have received expressions of interest from six candidates, and we will now work with them to select our replacement trustee. Thanks to everyone who has been in touch, it’s great to receive such an enthusiastic response.
